Sessions & fees information...
We are open from 8am until 6pm each day, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year where we close between Christmas and New Year as well as Bank Holidays.
We offer a full day, morning only or afternoon only session each day, and also provide early and late sessions if needed, 7.15am till 8am and 6pm till 6.45pm

A nutritious breakfast and a healthy freshly prepared lunch is provided for children attending our morning and all day sessions. For those attending the afternoon session as well as staying with us all day will be provided with tea. Also snacks will be provided in both morning and afternoon sessions.
Fee’s also include: milk, nappies, sensitive wipes and sunscreen.

Bank holidays are payable and cannot be swapped however our fees are only charged at 50weeks to cover these. Payment is still required if a child is absent due to sickness.
We offer the first 2 settling in sessions where available at no cost to help your child settle in. If anymore settling sessions are required, we will charge £8.25. We ask you to pay a deposit of £100 to secure your child’s place, which is refundable when they leave the Nursery.

One months’ notice is required prior to leaving. We will invoice you a month in advance, any additional sessions booked during the month will be shown on the following month’s invoice.

Funding information...
The Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFE) is a statutory entitlement for all 3 & 4 year olds and some 2 year olds. The universal entitlement is for a maximum of 15 hours per week over 38 weeks per year, or 570 hours stretched across the year. However, from September 2017 an additional 15 hours 'extended funding hours' was introduced if parents/carers meet the eligible criteria. The entitlement is for a maximum of 30 hours per week, over 38 weeks per year, or 1,140 hours stretched across the year.

At Charley Barleys we ask that children attend a minimum of 2 sessions per week. This is to ensure continuity and the well-being of your child. It also gives the key person more time with them, enabling greater learning and development within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

At Charley Barleys we ‘stretch’ the EYFE across 47.5 weeks of the year to a maximum of 12 hours or 24 hours each week, we offer 4 hours EYFE within our half day sessions and 8 hours in a full day. Childcare is charged across 50 weeks of the year (we are closed for one week at Christmas and statutory bank holidays). Funding rate fees will apply for all sessions attended in 2.5 weeks each year (dates to be notified to parent/carers in advance) and after the maximum EYFE entitlement has been applied to all other sessions.

For the universal 15 hour EYFE entitlement, you can request your child attends for the free EYFE hours only, these can be taken Monday to Friday 1pm to 4pm for a maximum of 4 sessions per week for 47.5 weeks or 5 sessions for 38 weeks, these are subject to availability. There is also the option for either a Monday or Friday full day and an additional half day session, the day will depend on availability, for 38 weeks or Monday and Friday 1pm to 6pm for 47.5 weeks only.
For the extended 30 hour EYFE entitlement, you can request your child attends for the free EYFE hours only, these can be taken Monday to Friday 1.15pm to 6pm for a maximum of 5 sessions per week for 47.5 weeks subject to availability.
If your child also attends another setting or school nursery class please discuss with us for further clarification of EYFE.

Invoicing including EYFE sessions

As Charley Barleys charges for 50 weeks, EYFE and the cost for non-EYFE hours are spread evenly over your monthly invoices, so the amount payable for nursery fees remains the same throughout the year.
We will calculate your monthly invoice as follows:
